Condor 774

Hatched March 30, 2015 in the wild in Southern CA

Hatched and raised at Hopper Mountain National Wildlife Refuge in the Pole Canyon territory, condor 774 first captured our hearts when we were able to watch her grow up on one of the first live-streaming condor nest cameras - we were even able to capture her very first flight!

From her very first forays into the skies, she integrated well into the Southern California flock. Eight years later, she paired with condor 590 in her first-ever nesting attempt in a territory just a stone's throw from where she herself was hatched.

While her first nesting attempt was unsuccessful, she was not discouraged and nested with 590 again in 2024 fledging her first chick, condor 1314.
