How You Can Help
Volunteer with Us
This is one of the simplest ways to help out our cause. We believe the best way for our initiatives to be successful is for the community to actively get involved. Sign up here to get notified of opportunities to join us providing educational and outreach programs, tabling at events, participating in workdays on the condor wildlife refuges, assisting refuge biological programs, and participating in maintenance projects at Bitter Creek NWR, Hopper Mountain NWR, and Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes NWR.
Make a Donation
Want to join our efforts but not sure where to start? We are a small volunteer group with an important mission. It’s a great way to contribute to our cause, and every little bit counts. All donations go directly towards helping California Condors.
Become an Outreach Volunteer
Join the us as we staff dozens of booths at street fairs, nature fests, and other sites throughout the year. At these booths, volunteers answer visitor’s questions and provide information about California condors. At the roadside viewing booth outside Bitter Creek National Wildlife Refuge, we also have a viewing scope set up to scan the skies for wild condors.
Join a Refuge Workday
Help us support the condor refuges by helping out with work needed on site. This can involve building and/or
repairing structures, mowing trails, clearing old fence/debris, building/repairing walls, and other odd jobs around the refuges. Work days are generally held once a month, and are a wonderful opportunity on get out on the refuges and possibly see condors in the wild.
